Helpshift is deploying server upgrades during a 3-hour maintenance window that has temporarily impact actions performed within Issues in your Dashboard.
We’re following up to inform you that our planned maintenance, originally scheduled for February 26th, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 6th.
When will this happen?
PST time zone: On 03/06/2018 starting at 8:30pm PST and ending at 11:30pm PST of the same day.
UTC time zone: On 03/07/2018 starting at 4:30am UTC and ending at 7:30am UTC of the same day.
Please take note of the end user impact detailed below.
What will be impacted?
During this 3-hour window, there will be three 2-minute periods where actions in the Dashboard may be intermittently delayed due to server requests needing to be retried.
Your team may observe temporarily incorrect Smart View counts and Issue states during this maintenance window, but they will return back to normal after this period has ended.
End user impact:
During this 3-hour window, there will be three 2-minute periods where an attempt to submit a new conversation may display an error to end users, prompting them to try again shortly. The timing of the 2-minute periods cannot be predicted.
Within the 2-minute periods, any new replies in a conversation will be synced and sent/received the next time they launch the app, or the next time they access the Help Center if they haven’t left the app yet.
There will be no data loss, nor permanent changes to your Dashboard associated with this maintenance.
We urge you to subscribe to our Status Page for alerts on the maintenance start and end times. You will be updated if there are any unexpected changes to the window, or additional impact to your team.
